She is so sweet and loving and we take proper care of her, she’s my life! But you can’t leave her with a piece of paper or a piece of furniture and when we tried a cage she would just bark and scream the whole time disturbing neighbors (we live in condo) she eats everything off the floor from fuzz to just everything lol. and clothes forget it! she also eats her toys! i bought some good chewing toys that are lasting but what am i going to do!!!???

Do you think I should go for a cheap dresser for the baby nursery, where it won’t matter if it gets battered and colored on and chewed and all the other abuse kids put on it, and we would just replace it after a few years when they’re more mature and will take better care of their stuff (hopefully)…

Or do you think I should spend a few hundred and get a nicer, more durable one, knowing that if it gets battered, we will all just have to live with it for years and years and years?

I know I can just look on Craiglist for a used but quality piece of furniture for cheaper. It’s just hard to find something made by a good brand, with the right look – you have to look at exactly the right time on Craigslist.

What do you think is the most realistic option? Other ideas?

My roomates cat keeps ****** all over our new couches and he doesn’t seem to care and doesn’t want to take responsibility for it. He thinks we should clean up after his cat and try to get the smell out ourselves. We need a discrete way of making everything in his room including all furniture smell terrible. Any ideas?
Also… This roomate is the son of the landlord so contacting the landlord isn’t an option.

I now have a small circular side table…must be over 100 years old. It is pitted with dirt…clearly it has not been cleaned for decades. It has an attractive inlay design which is now cracking due to lack of care. Can anyone advise on the cleaning prior to application of proper wax?
