These are the services she is looking for every 2 weeks: Bathroom Cleaning, Kitchen Cleaning, General Room Cleaning, Bed Changing, Dishes, Window Washing, Surface Polishing, Furniture Treatment, Wall Washing, Laundry, Plant Care. I’m not sure what size the house is, and I’m assuming all that will take about 2 hours to finish. This is in midtown Sacramento, CA if that makes a difference.

We dont care if it’s mixed, seeing as we dont want to pay more for the dog than we do our apartment. We just want a good first dog that’s big enough to intimidate but able to get on the furniture and cuddle with us without shedding all over my pillows and killing me alergy wise. Thank you so much in advance for your help!

Do you think I should go for a cheap dresser for the baby nursery, where it won’t matter if it gets battered and colored on and chewed and all the other abuse kids put on it, and we would just replace it after a few years when they’re more mature and will take better care of their stuff (hopefully)…

Or do you think I should spend a few hundred and get a nicer, more durable one, knowing that if it gets battered, we will all just have to live with it for years and years and years?

I know I can just look on Craiglist for a used but quality piece of furniture for cheaper. It’s just hard to find something made by a good brand, with the right look – you have to look at exactly the right time on Craigslist.

What do you think is the most realistic option? Other ideas?

I’m moving into my first apartment tomorrow with my wife, and we’ve already gotten a few things for the place, but I’m just wondering what all we might need. We already have furniture taken care of, but does anyone have any suggestions? It would be greatly appreciated.

My neighbors have cats which enjoy sleeping on the couch I keep on my veranda. I have spoken to the neighbors, who don’t care that I am allergic, and cannot sit on my own couch, so I am forced to look to other measures of control.

Has anyone ever used the pet deterrent spray with any success? I am afraid of it leaving a residue on the upholstery, making the couch un-usable for other reasons. And then there is how to clean the fabric.. If anyone has any ideas which may help, please reply. Thanks.

We’ve been married for eight years. My Canadian espouse has her job and her house in Canada. But as a Canadian citizen holding a green card I spent while on sabbatical the whole year traveling back and forth between the 2 countries. Now my sabbatical is over, I just bought a new house in the US. We still vow to continue to maintain two household establishments.
Do I have the privileges to bring with me to the United States a truck full of old furniture (i.e. bedrooms, TV, kitchen utensils, etc.) we have purchased years ago?
What can I bring easily?
What should I avoid?
Should I care about any particular problem before crossing the border?
Thank you in advance for any advice.

Furniture stores do mention if they use 100% leather or leather-match, however our particular sofa set mentions the following, “finest leather combined with the best designed leather match”. I don’t really care even if it is leather match, it is important for the material to be long lasting. I hope its not vinyl or anything. How can I tell what material they use in leather match? and How can I tell if any real leather is used or not?
